Our clinic is a partnership between two best friends, husband and wife, and business partners — Medical Director Dr Abigail El-Doueik (MBBS, DFRSH, BSc Immunology) and Scientific Director Dr Haytham El-Doueik (PhD Medicine, BSc Immunology).

Our core team's clinical grounding spans general practice, intensive care, acute emergency medicine, surgery and paediatrics — developed at respected institutions including King's College London and the Oxford University Hospitals. This breadth means we see you as a whole person, not a set of symptoms, with a special interest in the role of inflammation in health.
Bridging the gap: from lab to patient
What sets the Clinic apart is our focus on translational medicine — taking the latest, complex scientific discoveries and turning them into practical, effective treatment programmes. Our scientific heritage is rooted in immune modulation and activation, with training at major teaching hospitals and post-doctoral work at the Department of Clinical Pharmacology, University of Oxford.
This knowledge has been applied in high-level contexts, from developing therapies for infectious diseases to collaborating on plant-based health solutions with international pharmaceutical groups.
Meet the founders
Dr Abigail El-Doueik
Medical Director · MBBS, DFRSH, BSc Immunology
Dr Abigail El-Doueik brings frontline clinical depth to every consultation — from early A&E and cardiac ICU work at the Royal Brompton, through medicine and immunology at King's College London, to acute and emergency medicine via the Oxford Deanery and Royal Berkshire.
Her practice sits at the meeting point of conventional medicine and carefully applied natural approaches, including formal training in acupuncture and functional medicine. As Medical Director and co-founder of the Integrated Immunology Clinic, she focuses on inflammation, immune balance, and programmes grounded in each patient's full clinical picture.
Dr Haytham El-Doueik
Scientific Director · PhD Medicine, BSc Immunology
Dr Haytham El-Doueik's work joins traditional plant medicine with laboratory immunology. After early training in botanical extraction and formulation, clinical collaboration at Charing Cross, and degrees culminating in a PhD in Medicine at King's College London, he completed postdoctoral research at the University of Oxford on inflammatory burden and plant-derived compounds.
As Scientific Director and co-founder, he leads the clinic's translational approach — turning immune and inflammatory science into practical herbal, nutritional, and lifestyle programmes for patients and athletes.
